NYFF Events transformed Six Lounge into the Bing Recharge Lounge at the 2013 SXSW Conference in Austin, TX.  NYFF engaged guests by bringing RFID interactive components into the venue through Events Linked Live (subset of NYFF Events).  Events Linked Live allowed Bing to share event components through a customized social media activation.  Each guest registered a personalized RFID bracelet, which was associated with their Facebook account.  These bracelets granted them access to the full RFID experience.  The Bing Recharge Lounge experience included RFID vending machines, prize cranes filled with Bing swag, massage stations, Bing-It-On Challenge for refueling RFID points, an oxygen bar, a mobile charging station and free rides in the Bing-It-On SUV’s.  Guests had an opportunity to swipe at elected “Like Stations” to share their experience in real time!  The branded RFID bracelets were also used to spread thousands of Bing Recharge Lounge branded photos and posts to guests’ Facebook accounts.  The interactive activation produced immense brand exposure and generated nearly 120,000 social media impressions.

San Diego Convention Center held the 43rd Comic Con International Festival this year in mid-July. Events Linked Live collaborated with Fox’s Bond’s 50th Anniversary Blu-ray Booth at Comic Con. The Bond Booth featured an authentic Bond vehicle each day. Each fan registered a personalized RFID bracelet and associated it with their Facebook page and was then able to post messages and pictures to their Facebook. These bracelets allowed fans to convey thousands of Bond branded photos and wall posts to their Facebook accounts to share with their friends. The activation was a huge success for Fox sending over 100,000 social media impressions to Facebook and spreading awareness of Bond’s 50th Anniversary on Blu-ray to attendees and their friends.

At the 2012 SxSW conference NYFF Events produced the ‘Bing Lot’ creating an outdoor environment that was truly exceptional! NYFF Partner Cal Nathan held true to his style, designing a custom branded trailer, decked out with 50” plasmas, a 30’ bar, a branded photo booth, surround sound system and much more. The remaining portion of the lot was covered with black Astroturf and crisp white lounge furniture, all lit by tall steel towers with a unique purple hue.
